New iPhone13 using more mobile data

Since I got a new iPhone 13 a few days ago my mobile data has gone through the roof.. I bought a 1Gb add on at 17:00 yesterday and today at 06:00 I have used over 500Mb. Why should this be?

Thank you Raiyca I have applied changes suggested to reduce data usage. Will check to see if it makes a difference
