What does the yellow triangle mean?

I’m currently trying to use Apple Configurator to restore my m1 MacBook Pro and I get this yellow triangle in Apple Configurator. I’m able to boot into recovery mode on my m1 MacBook, but I’m unable to reinstall macOS Ventura through that, so I’m trying to do it through Apple Configurator. I completely erased the disk in disk utility but I’m unable to format it.

It's an international symbol for caution.

Per Apple:

"If your Mac is using a firmware password, the lock icon appears when you try to start up from another disk or volume, such as an external drive or macOS Recovery. Enter the firmware password to continue."

If your Mac doesn't start up all the way - Apple Support and page down for the padlock screen.
