Embedding Fonts in PDF

Is there a way to embed fonts into a PDF that was created from a Pages document? I have Pages version 10.3.9. Working on an iMac Big Sur 11.6.5.

No. A PDF exported from Pages contains only the font faces (not the entire font) used in the Pages document, and there is no means to add additional fonts to that PDF. If you have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, its properties panel can show you the fonts embedded by the Pages export to PDF. Apple's Preview does not reveal the embedded fonts.

PDFs exported from Pages are not PDF/A nor PDF/X-3, and Apple does not support the creation of PDFs with those standards as would paid PDF Editors such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, or Nitro PDF Pro.
