I still have one line of data about the purchase but I need the whole receipt to find the IMEI number of the stolen phone. I thought I would find it in my accounts paperwork but I might have opted for an email receipt but I can't find any.
I don't think App Store is the correct category but I can't see another one. The purchase was made in a physical Apple Store.

FYI, you should keep than phone on your AppleID for a Loooong time.
Removing it from your AppleID will allow the subsequent “possessors” to reset the device and reuse it as an iPhone.
Of course, you may be more forgiving than I. 😉
If the phone was - and still is - installed on your AppleID, you can obtain it’s IMEI at https://appleid.apple.com/
