Start here:

Apple Personal Session - Apple

Your local Mac Store may have classes. They are not specifically geared for any particular age group.

Today at Apple - Apple

Note that these sessions are not geared toward a particular age group.

If you want something geared for "seniors", try your local senior center, community center or library.

You should also look here:

Select the type of Mac you are buyng and you'll see links to lots of useful information, including the User Guide.

As general information, it doesn't matter so much if you buy a laptop or a desktop computer - what matters mostly is the operating system software that makes the device work and that is what you want to become familiar with. On a computer, it is Mac OS.

For instance, it is different from the software on an iPad or iPhone (iOS). So you want classes that teach you how to navigate the software and how to do certain things such as email, writing a letter, edit photos, etc. on Mac OS since you are buying a computer.

I see lots of good replies here. You should be able to find something that suits you. 🙂

I just want to share the following as a friendly tip for you:

When referencing the Mac model you are using, it helps to be specific, especially when seeking assistance here in the Apple communities. You will be buying a Mac laptop and I believe you're looking at a MacBook Pro. I mention this because there are also MacBook Air laptop models... and Mac Pro and iMac Pro desktop models. These are four very different computers here in the forums, and when solving problems it's often imperative to know which is being discussed.

Enjoy your new Mac, my friend. I expect it will serve you well for many years. 👍🏽
