I'm seeing duplicate app icons and notifications on my iPhone.

I believe my phone is cloned.

I woke up one day and I had 2 messages app icon, and whenever I get a new notification it pops up twice. Also when I try to do a safety check it always says unable to gather information. I would like a new SIM card number and a new phone and start all over again. I’m 99.9 sure my phone is hacked. Do I need Togo to a Apple Store ? Closet one is in Dallas.

If you want a new SIM number and phone this can be done at any Cell Provider. You may want to make sure your old phone is not locked to your previous carrier or find out if you still owe money on the phone if not paid in full. You should also erase your old phone by following the Support Article below. You will not need to do the backup or transfer information to your new iPhone, since you will want to be setting it up as new along with a new Apple ID if you really want to start fresh. Doing this will result in you losing any apps that you had paid to download or any media that had been purchased. Deleting your old Apple ID is also possible after erasing the old device.
