How to unlock sim locked

Is this a phone that you have been using.....in which case you know which carrier the phone is locked to.....or.....is this a phone that you have just purchased from someone......in which case they have not given you important details about the phone that you need to know?

Exactly what “ideas” are you hoping for? There is no magic way to have the device unlocked by the cellular provider, but YOU have to initiate the process, as outlined in the linked Apple Support document above.

Then, you know who the carrier is, because you have been paying them every month for phone service.

Contact the carrier and ask them to remove the SIM lock on the phone. Depending on your original agreement with the carrier, they may be under no obligation to unlock the phone.

The bottom line here......only the carrier can unlock the phone. Apple is not involved in any way with this.

You have been provided with correct factual information.....not ideas.

You do know who your carrier is, correct? You....or someone else....have been paying them every month for cellular service.

Whoever the carrier might be.....they are the only one who can unlock the SIM on the phone.

Once the SIM is unlocked on your phone, you can then contact another carrier if you want to set up service with them.

Why is this so difficult for you? Are there other details that you have not told us about?
