Sd card not mountable

Hello, I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra. MacOS Ventura 13.5.1 (22G90)

Recently, I can no longer mount my SD cards on the dedicated port in front of the Mac Studio and this was before the last update.

When I restart Mac OS with the card in it, I can see it and work on it. But as soon as I eject it and put it back in, it's not recognized.

The SD card is formatted in FAT 32.

Please help me.

When the Mac was young (1984) when you said EJECT, the Sony 800K diskette popped out of its little slot.

When you eject an SD card, it just sits there. it is hard for MacOS to tell when you take the card out out and when you put the same card back. MacOS thinks that is the card it just ejected.

So the suggestion is to insert a second card with a different name, eject the second card, and then insert the original card. The original card might now be recognizable, because it would NOT have the same name as the last card Ejected.
