When i press the emoji button on my iphone 14 pro (iOS 16.6) keyboard I can't scroll through them because the window immediately closes. I reinstalled messenger and it fixes the issue but as soon as you press the emoji/sticker button on the messenger app, it causes the problem to occur again. Emojis work normally in other apps, it's just the messenger issue.

i can’t seem to figure it out either but it’s on the Apple side of things unlike this persons saying; even though it’s on messenger it’s integrated into the text menu BY Apple.
Messenger is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or Messenger Help Center | Facebook
Same issue here.. Since the last update, I’ve been experiencing that too. What I do is exit messenger then go back. It’s frustrating because it will just happen again.
