I will be trading in my old iPad as soon as the trade-in kit arrives.
So I erased the old iPad to the best of my ability.
This chat is simply to find out if there’s a way to verify that my old iPad is completely empty of all my files?

If you see the Hello screen on your iPad after following the steps in the support document you posted from, it was completely erased.
If you see any other screen, then it was not erased.
