How to disable passcode attempt lockout

Is there a way to disable the time delays lockout from multiple passcode attempts? The problem I have is when I am working outside in Florida and the phone is in my pocket, the screen thinks I am trying to enter a passcode and failing, yet I am not touching the phone, it is in my pocket. Then I go to take it out and I am locked out for an hour. Extremely annoying. I understand it is a security "feature" but I am willing to sacrifice some security to have access to my phone when I need it. It seems to be more of a bug for those of use who have to work in the heat and sweat sometimes or all of the time.
