Apple Carplay not responding and glitching

My apple carplay worked perfectly until a few days ago, where it doesn't respond to my touch and then it starts glitching (moving the screen, zooming in, opening and closing certain screens,etc). I've tried a brand new apple cable, I've tried forgetting the car in the carplay setting and then reconnecting, and restarting my phone. My phone is up to date on its software, and the problem persists. Any help on how to get this working normally again?

If your iPhone isn't detected by CarPlay, make sure CarPlay isn't restricted. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap Allowed Apps and make sure CarPlay is enabled. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car and then tap Forget This Car. Then set up CarPlay again.

Car play worked fine in my Lincoln until last night. Now getting a black screen when I connect via USB to use car play. It’s connects but I can’t select anything because touchscreen goes black.

I’m using new apple USB cable, all software is up to date. Anyone else having car play black screen prob?
