Deleting Files on Macbook Air

How do I delete all personal files on my old MacBook Air without deleting anything on my current MacBook Air or my iPhone?

If you are trading in or giving away the Mac follow the steps in the support document linked below to erase the Mac entirely. This will not affect anything on other devices.
