Apple Music isn't showing my listening history on my Iphone

My Apple Music isn't reading or showing or updating my "recently played"on my Iphone. This is extremely frustrating for me cause I like to know which songs and albums I've been listening throughout the week, not to mention this will affect my Replay of 2023. The issue has been occuring for 2 weeks now and it seems to be only on my phone as my itunes or my computer are updating just fine. If I listen to an album on my computer, it updates my listening history and I can check it and track it on my phone but on the other hand if I listen to an album using the apple music app on my iphone it won't read or update it. I've already turn off and on the sync library button multiple times, I've shut down my phone, delete the app but the issues persists. Please Help.

iPhone 12, iOS 17

But that’s not the problem. The problem is that my Apple Music App isn’t tracking anything I listen to at all. I play an album on my iPhone and it isn’t tracked, it’s like I didn’t even play it. My Apple Music on my iPhone isn’t reading anything I play

Seeing your Play History:

Two things…

A. Log in to Music Replay: replay.music.apple.com

You might see it on there, as long as Replay is enabled.

and…

B. Verify that Use Listening History is Enabled:

If Use Listening History is not enabled, then it would not have been tracked.

  1. Go Here: How to get your Apple Music Replay - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: If you don't see Replay
  3. As it Reads: If you still don't see Replay, make sure that Use Listening History is turned on for all of your devices:

"My listening history is on and hasn’t tracked a single song in months now. Is there any other remedy besides checking if listening history is on? No luck during apple support chat either. They don’t seem to understand the actual issue similarly to the responses here."
