Hello,
Having the “Silence Unknown Callers” feature is great in helping to relieve the annoyance of spam calls.
However, the Notifications still come up as banners, etc.
Can a new toggle (in a future iOS release) be created in Notifications for Phone that bypasses these Silenced Unknown numbers?
Having them silenced is good. Disabling notifications/banners about these silenced calls would be awesome.

Thanks for the reply! I'm trying to understand how to use Focus Filters to get this functionality. I set up a filter, but if I select "Allow Notifications From", it looks like I'd need to manually add all my contacts. There's the separate "Allow Calls From" section where I can select "Contacts Only", but it doesn't seem like this will fix the issue I'm trying to tackle.
To summarize the issue again, even though I'm able to silence unknown callers, the missed call notification still pops up and my phone buzzes, which I'd like to avoid as I receive several spam calls a day (and am very grateful that I can at least silence the call!)

Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-user forum for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:
You have two options. One is good and one is better. So go to your Settings under Phone and you can choose how you want the notifications to be like or to block notifications please note this will apply to all callers even your contacts. Or you could use an more effective Focus Fliter go to Settings under Focus and at the top corner of the screen click the blue plus button choose what you want select who you do want to only hear from and silence notifications for everyone else including phone calls make sure to keep Allow Calls from Silenced People off. This should work.
Inside of the focus settings You gotta choose people then silence notifications from then there is a toggle for allowing calls from silenced people
