Does Apple ITunes support IPod. Does not show up in ITunes when plugged into my PC?

When I plug in my IPod to my PC Windows 11, it does not show in the ITunes Library as it has done so in the past. Yes my IPod is old but still works when plugged into my vehicle USB. Have over 1200 titles on it. What are my options to get it back working with ITunes???

If you are using the Apple Music Preview app in Windows 11 then you likely need the Apple Devices app to sync content to your devices. See https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/apple-devices-preview/9NP83LWLPZ9K.

Otherwise try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community.
