I had cancelled my icloud subscription before but I got billed this month for $9.99.

If you do not see the downupgrade you can always check how much iCloud storage you're using in Settings on your device, on a Mac, or on iCloud.com


- On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

- macOS Ventura: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud on the right.

- macOS 12 or earlier: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Apple ID, then click iCloud.

- On iCloud.com --> https://iCloud.com

If it still won't show, report the issue to Apple --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support Select your country, then a product.

For future reference....

Properly Cancelling you iCloud Plan:

1. Download All of iCloud, First:

Prior to cancelling your iCloud Plan, download all of iCloud. That way you do not lose any data, once downgrading.. Use my user tip: Getting a Quick and Direct "iCloud Drive-to-External Hard Drive" Download - User Tip


then...


2. Downgrade your iCloud Plan:

If you want to get less storage in iCloud, downgrading your iCloud plan is the way to go. Note that this has a monthly fee. Here is the link to user: iCloud+ Plans and Pricing - Apple Support. Note that this service is not available in all countries/regions.
