Yes, you will have to return it to the country it was purchased in. And it has to be done within 14 days of purchase.
No one here in this user to user forum can help you return your phone. You should buy the phone in the country you live in and this is one of the reasons why.
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return the phone for a refund but it must be in the same country you purchased it in.

Very good evening, yesterday I checked with in my place Iphone customer, try to return, they said , I have to return in USA shop itself .
we Are in Brunei , with in 14 days unable to return to same shop in USA , some expansion case , you can help to return in local iPhone customers Center , because we trust world number one brand , if not helping to customers really not good .
