Safari History won't delete

Bet it does…

Quit Safari. Press the shift+key and launch Safari. Disable any extensions. Select Safari menu : Clear History… : [ all history ] and click the Clear History button. Quit Safari. Relaunch Safari normally to a blank screen. Press ⌘Y to Show all History. Last visited today will be 0 items.
