My office is dusty and so the Mac Mini has accumulated a lot of hair and dust at the bottom.
How can I clean it to prevent it from heating? I don't feel like opening it but will do if advised.

How about this.
Shutdown, unplug and vacuum around the bottom cover.
You can pop off the bottom cover for inspection and light vacuuming. Do not blow, as that will just force the dust and crud deeper into the Mac mini's Fan and Heatsink.

That's right. Would it still be ok to use a vacuum machine on a Mac Mini?
