Problems with my email account on my iMac

My iMac is synced with two iPads and one iPhone. I am not having any trouble with the iPads and phone. If I delete my email account on my iMac, will it also delete on my iPads and iPhone? I cannot receive or send emails on my iMac.

Deleting your email account on your Mac will not delete it from your iPads and iPhone. If you are having trouble with the email on your Mac, you should delete it and then add it again with the proper password and type of mail box to gain functionality. If adding it back again does not solve your problem with sending and receiving, reply back with the name of the Mail provider and users here would be happy to help.
