Not Allowing Group Messaging
My SMS and MMS Messaging and Group Messaging are all turned on, however, I cannot participate in or receive messages from group chats that include one or more non-iPhone user and it's driving me crazy.

In an iPhone, the ability to enable or disable SMS services is not a user-configurable option. Instead, it is controlled by your mobile carrier based on the SIM card you use. When you insert a SIM card into your iPhone, it determines whether SMS services are available on your device.
To clarify, even if you have enabled the "Send as SMS" option in your iPhone's settings, it doesn't mean that you have SMS services on your device. This option comes into play when you attempt to send an iMessage to another iPhone user, and your iPhone is not connected to the internet or encounters an issue with the iMessage service.
When your iPhone detects that it can't deliver the iMessage due to lack of internet connectivity or other issues, it automatically converts the message into an SMS (green bubble) and sends it through the traditional cellular network. However, this is only possible if SMS services are available on your device, which is determined by your carrier.
