ITVX app on Apple TV buffering when streaming live TV

I cant get live TV to stream on Apple TV using ITVX app - continuous buffering. No problems with the app on my LG TV. Have updated all software and reinstalled the app but still no joy. Internet connection is gigabit through ethernet and all other streaming services fine.

Any thoughts?
