How can I log out from my Child's Apple ID on his iPad and log in with mine? His account is under 13. I tried to do it from his iPad, but the "Log Out" button is greyed out due to restrictions. I tried to do it from my Mac, yet I couldn't find the way.

Solution:
You have to sign out of "Find my iPhone" in order to unlock the "Sign out" feature.
However, First I disabled all Family monitoring and restrictions....
Hope this helps before you have to reset the phone.

You will first need to remove the restrictions. Go to screen time>restrictions>content and privacy restrictions to turn those off

I have done the SAME as well
&& STILL can NOT sign out!
I had to turn off Sync Settings under Screen Time, even though I disabled screen time restrictions in order to log out of iCloud on that device. Until I did this, even with Screen Time restrictions turned off, I could not log out of the device.
Just in case anyone else runs into this issue.
I have tried this and sign out is still greyed out but the restriction message has gone.

We only know what you tell us. What messages are you seeing? What is making you think you cannot sign out?
