Persistent Smudges on iPad Pro 12.9-inch Magic Keyboard Case

Hello fellow Apple users,

I hope you're all doing well. I am facing a perplexing issue with my beloved iPad Pro 12.9-inch Magic Keyboard Case, and I'm hoping some of you might have encountered a similar problem or have some valuable insights to share.

The issue is the smudges on the Exterior of the Magic Keyboard Case

Recently, I've noticed that my Magic Keyboard Case is acquiring smudges on the outside surface way too easily. It's becoming a daily hassle, as I find myself cleaning it consistently, but the smudges just keep reappearing. I haven't encountered this issue in the past, and I'm puzzled about what could be causing it.

Hi ishaangarg,

We recommend that you follow the Apple guidance for cleaning the iPad Magic Keyboard that we have quoted below. This will ensure residue from other cleaning supplies doesn't contribute to the smudges.

iPad Magic Keyboard

To clean your Magic Keyboard, first remove it from the iPad. Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Wipe the front and the inside with a soft, lint-free cloth. You may use a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. Avoid getting moisture in any opening, and don't submerge your Magic Keyboard in any cleaning agents. Don't use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide to clean this product.
