can't get rid of Boom 3D sound

07/29/2023, can't get rid of Boom 3D sound. Did a software delete, but Boom still shows up as a listining choice in sound settings.

Mac mini, OS X 10.11

You might need to re-install it. Then use their guide to uninstall the entire package. Don't just drag it into the trash.

Try Boom3DUninstaller.app. It worked for me. Good luck!
