Is there a permanent fix for QuickLook constantly not working?

For the last 5 years it seems the quicklook feature of the MacOS finder has been buggy. The feature, which allows you to get a quick preview of a file by hitting the spacebar, constantly stops working, requiring one to go into the Activity Monitor, find the stopped function and force quit it. It then starts working again. You have to do this almost every day, even more than once a day, for the function to work. This has been an issue for years. "Quicklook not working mac" has 3.4 million results on Google. How do we get a permanent fix on this?

I also do not share your experience. My family's Macs of many different descriptions and different MacOS versions seem to work fine.

Search results are often full of nonsense. What improves you argument is having a definitive, respected source say it is a problem.

If you would like to pursue this as a technical issue, you first need to consider the possibility that this issue might be specific to a subset of all Macs, and post the make&model-year, and the version of MacOS you are currently running.
