How to turn off hide my email

I’m trying to access an account that is asking me to turn off Hide My Email & I can’t figure out how to do it.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

This is absolutely no help whatsoever! This 'hide my email' has suddenly appeared in my macmail account sending options. I don't want it, I don't need it but can't find an answer to how to remove it. Ventura 6.5.1

Refer to Set up and use Hide My Email in iCloud+ on all your devices - Apple Support

To turn this off, do the opposite of what it says for setting it up.
