How can I watch Appletv on my television

I purchased through my iPhone so I can watch my tv has the app as well but unable to watch on my flat screen

That depends on the kind of television you have. If you have a Smart TV, you may be able to download the AppleTV app and watch that way. If your television supports AirPlay, you might be able to stream it from your phone to the screen.

In addition to the former (although mentioned in the link), unsupported TVs may connect an external streaming device that support the Apple TV app. That can be an Apple TV box, or Roku, Fire TV, Xbox, PlayStation, Nvidia Shield, ‘Chromecast with Google TV’ dongle, or select TV provider set-top boxes that support apps.
