Left margin on iPad cut off

It would be helpful to know which app you’re using when you see the left margin missing. Also, does this happen when holding your iPad in portrait or landscape? 

Another thing to check, could the display on your iPad be zoomed in? You can check the setup for zoom in Settings > Accessibility > Zoom. Zoom in on the iPad screen 

Or, if you’re noticing this on the Home Screen and you can’t access Settings because of it, double tap with three fingers on the display to zoom out.
