I am trying to update my husbands Mac. He has had the computer for a few years and has not done an update. He is on macOS Sierra version 10.12.6 It will not allow me to upgrade him to Ventura it says this computer is not compatible. I do not know how to fix this. Can you please help me.

Most likely (1) yes it can be updated and (2) it likely cannot be updated to Ventura. What it can be updated is dependent on the year and model of your Mac, which you did not state. You can check Apple's web site for tat information or you can tell us and we will advise what you can update to
