Seeing Group Text Messages:

Ask the moderator to add you back. They'd have to remove you from the group text, prior to doing so.

Refreshing the Participation:

It’s more a matter of refreshing the connection to the group. So, ask the moderator to remove you, then add you back.

Security Software being the Culprit:

So, if this only pertains to one participant, then they may have a privacy setting somewhere.
