How to delete WhatsApp from iPhone 6s?

i need to delete the WhatsApp app from an iPhone 6s, it appears it was built in as it only offers you to remove it from the Home Screen. Advice welcomed.

If you have Screen Time or Focus or Parental Controls enabled, turn that off, and try again.

Or check in Screen Time Settings > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps > Allow

WhatsApp is not built-in to the iPhone. Go to the App Library and see if you can delete it from there. From the home screen, swipe all the way to the right until you get to the App Library.

Thank you! I followed your instructions to check in screen time settings and clicked “allow” and that has enabled me to delete WhatsApp from the library, whereas previously it wasn’t allowing it.

It wasn’t allowing me to delete from the library. I have followed the advice of MrHoffman and have now deleted it.
