On the iMac VENTURA OS 13.4.1 (c) where do I find the folder that holds the photo I have selected for the Wallpaper?

Maybe I did not explain myself well enough. From my PHOTOS > I chose a particular photo that I wanted to make my Wallpaper Photo, which I did. I don't really like that photo and wanted to REPLACE it with a new one.

So the question is, How do I delete said photo I have chosen for the Wallpaper and select a new one?

I would like to know where is the file or folder that stores any and all photos I have selected as a Wallpaper so I can delete whichever I don't care to keep as a Wallpaper......

System/Library/Desktop Pictures ...... only shows the photos that Apple has selected, not the ones I want to use.

The ones I select come from my PHOTOS > I select the photo I want and click on "Make Desktop Photo".

Well, if I don't want that one that I have previously selected and would like to change it, where is that folder/file that allows me to delete the photo previously selected?

How is anyone here to know what photo you selected...?

I can say a lot of System supplied wallpapers are found from Finder

Finder>Go>Go To Folder, copy and paste:

/System/Library/Desktop Pictures

ref:

if you are still at a loss for the complete path to you image there is this

debug —shows that Core Service is an alias back to the Library folder

From the Terminal app copy and paste:

defaults write com.apple.dock desktop-picture-show-debug-text -bool TRUE && killall Dock

this path will present itself on the Desktop itself:

to cancel the command—copy and paste:

defaults delete com.apple.dock desktop-picture-show-debug-text  && killall Dock

I am surprised it is not in the link provided for your convenience:

Control click on the Desktop is an easy way to make a change ...(?)

if it is not Apple supplied then look at the complete path—spelled out above

or scroll to the bottom for your PHOTOS

It shows how to add; that I can do.
But it does NOT show how to delete from the Wallpaper. I suspect the wallpaper photo is only an "alias" that points to the original photo on my PHOTO album.

So my question stands: How do I delete these "aliases"? Where are they? Which folder or file are all these aliases in?

What is the complete path to the current Desktop image(?)— It is not a trick question...

Did you enter the Terminal command as provided above and have a look see?
