I've just backed up my iPhone 13 Pro Max to my iMac, yet my phone continues to tell me "iPhone Not Backed Up". How can I officially backup my phone without having to delete the majority of my info and/ or purchase additional iCloud storage?

Open Finder, click on your iPhone in the side bar. What does it say for last backup? Click on Manage Backups. Do you see a backup? (Older Macs, use iTunes instead)
Where do you see iPhone not backed up?
As I already asked, what does it say when you look at the Summary page on your computer with the phone connected?
Thank you for the response. I backed up the phone to my Mac at roughly 10:30 this morning. Despite the backup I still get the message under Settings > Apple ID Suggestions > iPhone Not Backed Up and Your iPhone can't be backed up
Thank you! I'm content having it backed up to the Mac (something physical) and it's been driving me insane seeing the red notification on the Settings tab. Thanks again!
"Last backup to this Mac: Today, 10:31 AM". Clicked on Manage Backups and my phone populated along with the time of the backup.
