Handwritten notes not showing on Apple Notes on Mac

I have the same problem! From what I got it's an iCloud syncing bug: if an handwritten note is open in more than one device at the same time, then that note becomes blank.

I've tried closing and opening the note app multiple times; I've opened that note on iCloud via browser; I've shared that note with other people on different devices but I couldn't find a way to fix this issue and get that note back.

Please Apple fix this bug, it's really annoying!

I'm having the same problem on my iMac and MacBook Pro, both using macOS Sonoma. I see the icon of my handwritten notes on the list of notes, but I open them and only a portion of the handwritten notes are there if they are separated by text. I can't seem to open the whole thing.

I'm surprised that this is still an issue many months later.

I found the workaround that worked for me after I purchased Nebo app :) - a waste of time and money. I might switch to Nebo later on.

Workaround:

1. Make sure both iPad and Macbook are in the same theme (light/dark).
2. Edit something on the notes on iPad so that it re-syncs in iCloud
3. See the notes appear on Macbook.

I have exactly the same problem. Is there any fix or work around? For me it was neveropened on multiple devices. It was just written on iPad and few days later was trying to access them from Macbook and faced the same issue that is reported here.
