There are a few things you can try if you can't hear or see someone on FaceTime on your iPhone XR.

  1. Check your network connection. Make sure that you're connected to the internet and that your iPhone has a good signal. You can try restarting your router or modem to see if that fixes the problem.
  2. Restart your iPhone. This can sometimes fix minor software issues that can cause problems with FaceTime.

  4. Update your iPhone's software. Apple often releases software updates that fix bugs and improve performance. Make sure that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.
    1. Update Over-the-Air (OTA) —> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (IN)
    2. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)
  5. Reset FaceTime. This will reset FaceTime settings to their defaults. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If you can't turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple ...

If you've tried all of these steps and you're still having problems, you can contact Apple Support for help.
