Morning I tried the trouble shooting steps for the airpods pro, yet still wont charge and or connect.

Not charging and not connecting is probably the result of a discharged battery. If you have tried all the checks in If your AirPods won’t charge - Apple Support your next option is to contact Apple Support and arrange to get the hardware examined and serviced.
