I have a macbook air with macOS Ventura 13.2 software and an apple wireless mouse. I am trying to use my samsung monitor as an external display. But my mouse is lagging on the samsung external display monitor. The mouse speed is perfect on my macbook but it is quite slow on the external monitor. Do you have any suggestions on how I might fix that?

Just figured it out and now my screen work perfectly!
I have an M7, so I imagine settings are similar.
Go to your samsung monitor's settings, click all settings, Game, turn on Game Mode, and just change your response time to faster or extreme. That's it! Hope that helps.
No need to reduce resolution.
Try reducing the resolution of the screen.
See if using a different video cable works better.
Make sure you aren't using both the trackpad and mouse for input.
