I cant reset my password

Have you tried per this guide?

Reset macOS Password:

Reset Computer Password  for the Administrator Account

Intel Computers:

1 - Shutdown the computer 

2 - Restart computer and immediately hold the two keyboard combo Command + R 

3 - If using a Bluetooth Keyboard with Rechargeable Battery - Connect the Keyboard to computer with the cable for this unique purpose. This is because the Bluetooth Service might not load quick enough to execute the 2 keyboard commands 

4 - Top Tool Bar | Utilities | Terminal

5 - Type resetpassword as one word with no spaces and all lowercase.

6 - Press Return key

7 - Follow the prompts and remember the New Password

Apple Silicon Computers: 

1 - Choose Apple menu and click ‘Shut Down’.

2 - Do not  use Restart to use this feature. The computer Must be Shutdown for about 10 seconds before  

      continuing. 

3 - If using a Bluetooth Keyboard with Rechargeable Battery - Connect the Keyboard to computer with the cable.  

      This is because the Bluetooth Service might not load quick enough to execute the 2 keyboard commands 

4 - Press and hold the power button on your Mac until you see “Loading startup options.”

5 - Click Options, then click Continue. 

6 - Top Tool Bar | Utilities | Terminal

7 - Type resetpassword as one word with no spaces and all lowercase

8 - Press Return key

9 - Follow the prompts and remember the New Password
