"kernal_task" writes huge amounts of data!

Hey,


just checked Activity Monitor and saw "kernel_task" has written almost 60 GB of Data since this morning(about 10 hours or so) and some other tasks 40 GB (total of 104 GB) . I only did some browsing, played Minecraft and created some graphics in Vectornator. Is this stressful/normal for the ssd? I'm worried


I am german btw but hopefully someone can help me here

This is normal for Apple Silicon Macs. My M1 MacBook Air often writes over 1TB a day, so 104GB isn't anything to worry about.
