All my album art has turned into a random image from a podcast

A few months ago I downloaded a podcast in the Podcasts app. Somehow right after that all my album art in the Music app on iPhone started showing up with the cover image from that podcast series.

It really makes no sense at all, but, here I am. It's been months now and nothing has magically "reset" the Music app so that it would stop using that random image as the album art for all songs in Music.app.

Does anyone have any suggestions here? Really not sure how to fix this but not happy at all with this random bug. Attaching a screenshot here so you can see that I'm not crazy.

Has no one followed up on this? I have the same problem, and I can't believe that Apple expects everyone to manually replace the album art for the thousands of album that they lost with their eff up. It seems that Apple no longer has much interest in supporting users with our own local music collections who don't subscribe to their paid streaming service. Do they at least allow third party solutions to local music management or do we have to migrate away from Apple? iTunes and its presumably competent music library management was the whole reason I entered the Apple ecosystem.

Rob, do you honestly expect users to manually upload artwork for the potentially thousands of affected albums all over again? Is this what Apple is telling us to do to solve the problems created by Apple's buggy updates, commit dozens or hundreds of hours of our own time into manually finding and replacing unexpectedly deleted album art for potentially thousands of albums?

Your dealing with Tim crook now, he is only interested in making money so they abandon all software were they don't make money. Steve Jobs and his legacy of excellence is dead, now is not a creative company, only profit money. That is why Itunes, now “Music" is always trying to sell you their inferior subscription, (nothing compared to spotify) but like many, if you have your own library, even CD’s you purchase and downloaded to your computer, the Iphone will create a random artwork, sometimes from a podcast or anywhere at random. I rather have just the music note with no logo that my Macbook assigns than have a random artwork that has nothing to do with the album. But nobody answers how to stop the iphone from assiging a random artwork. This is the beginning of the end of "great apple ”becoming "mediocre apple” profitable like Microsoft, but mediocre.
