I have an LG 4K tv with eARC

I have a Bose 600 sound bar with one eARC HDMI port

I have an Apple TV 4K

I’ve been told to connect the Apple TV to the non eARC HDMI port on the LG TV and to connect the Bose sound bar eARC HDMI port to the eARC HDMI port on the LG TV.

This seems to work but I have issues with turning everything off using the Apple TV remote. It’s like playing whack-a-mole. One of the three turns off and the others turn on. I have simplink-CEC on in TV settings.

CEC should be activated on all HDMI devices in the setup.

Bose: Turning HDMI-CEC on or off - Bose Smart Soundbar 600 - Bose Support

Instead of using the Power button on the Siri Remote, try setting Apple TV to sleep in Control Center, and let that propagate to other devices. See if that behaves differently.
