Name change not updating in mail

I changed my name last year and have updated everything in my cloud account multiple times, and yet, my old name keeps appearing in emails I send from my .mac mail account. This happens when I send to people who don't have my contact info, so it is not on their end. Help!

I bought a iphone 15 pro for my daughter yesterday in Southampton & took out apple care & want to change the name on the account to hers. how do I do this please?

If you want to change the name linked to your Apple ID, the steps in here can help: Set up your Apple ID name, phone, and email information on Mac - Apple Support

If you've already followed those, this may be related to the recipients have your email address saved on their end. You may want to check if that's the case with one of the recipients and see if they can change it on their end.

Did you ever get this resolved? My old name continues to show up in sent emails for a year now. It even shows up when I send an email to an account I've never emailed before, so I know it's not a "their end" contacts problem... I also see when I sign into iTunes program on my PC and sign into my account, that it's still there. But when I "View My Account", there's nowhere to even change a name there. I've tried every trick Google has given me, and even cried on the phone to Apple Support when my old name ended up on my AppleCare when I purchased a new phone after Christmas. I keep getting jump scared by my old name and it needs to stop. It can't be this complicated.
