How do I transfer my gmails from my phone to my IPAd and keep them on my phone as well?

Assuming that you are using the native Mail App, simply add your Gmail account to your iPad:
Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
All of your Goole Mail is stored on Google’s Mail servers. A copy of your mail is downloaded to each of your devices.
