Airport Utility and Ventura 13.4.1

I'm using my old Airport Time Capsule as my WiFi base station (Model: A1470, Serial#: 119FH5, 802.1X) and for backup. I'm running Ventura 13.4.1 on a MacAir M2. What version of the Airport utility can I use? Is there a firmware update I should install? Which update. All those I try say they are incompatible.

i have a "new" but older airport extreme. Model A1143. When I plug it in, airport utility says "This version of Airport Utility requires this Airport Extreme use firmware 7.3.1 or later." BUT, it doesn't give me an option to update the firmware?! HELP!? I've tried it on my two iMacs. An older iMac at the office Retina, built in 2015, running Monterey 12.6.8 and a new iMac at home, that's totally up today.

Cannot connect to Aiport Extreme wirelessly to do a firmware update Hello! I for the life of me cannot configure my Airport Extreme router from my 2021 MacBook Pro (M1 Pro) WIRELESSLY. If I open Airport Utility All it shows is the gray "Globe" with the word "Internet" under it, but does not show any devices below it. I need to do a long overdue firmware update, but am unable to connect to the station itself to do said update. Must I be physically connected to the Airport via an Ethernet cable to do this? Why can this not be done wirelessly? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thanks!

AirPort Extreme 802.11n (5th Generation) won't reset I have a MacBook Pro 2015 running Monterey with a Thunderbolt ethernet adapter plugged into the WAN or LAN port via ethernet cable, doesn't make a difference, it won't let get the Airport base station to reset with the indentation to the left of the kensington lock. I put a paperclip in there, before and after I plugging the base station to power. The Airport Utility constantly wants to ask me to insert its password, even though I forgot the password from long ago. The utility Base Station menus are all grayed out, and I'm using the utility version 6.3.9. The reset gives a glimmer of hope with a brief switch from orange to green light, only to go back to orange light. There used to be a utiltiy version that I remembered had menu items for WDS, and other options, but I don't see that in this utility. The 6.2.1 utility won't work in Monterey, and it won't work in Sierra, the highest system I can install from recovery. So I'm stuck. Is there a newer version of the utility? I want to create a WDS to strengthen my network from the basement to the 2nd floor. Any suggestions?

Vintage and obsolete is real possibility. Might be time to upgrade your hardware, Time Capsule was discontinued in 2018

Is there an Airport Utility.app on your M2 (?) That would be the version ...
