I cannot remember the password to my Mac & im unsure how to reset it.. this is why… I can see it listed in the Find My app on my iPhone, but it’s not listed as a device in my iCloud account, so it’s not letting me reset it using my Apple ID. What do I do? I have so many photos on there I do not want to lose.

Recovering Data from a Password-Forgotten Mac:
I see "Earlier Mac models" for the device type. So, if iCloud Photos was enabled on this, then log into the same account here, and see if you can recover them: https://www.icloud.com/photos/. Go here, and see if anything is resigns in iCloud Drive: https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive
