Is appletv+ really free for 3 months ? I’ve only see a “free week trial “ button when tap it … which is it ?

Re: eligibility for the three-month trial:
You may need to update your iPhone to the newest available iOS version (iOS 16.5)

"If you've recently purchased Apple hardware that includes a 12-month, 6-month, or 3-month or other complimentary free trial of Apple TV+, this offer will automatically appear in the Apple TV app when signed in with the Apple ID associated with your recent hardware purchase."
(Seems the 7 day free trial is also available for those new to Apple TV, who haven't bought a new device.)
Free trials generally need to be cancelled at least 24 hours before they expire, if not to be charged for future subscription period(s).
