when a photo is saved in an photo album on your phone does it take up double the space since it is also in the library? Why when you save a photo in an album is the photo still in the library?
No. When you add a photo to an album, the photo is not copied to the album. The album contains pointers to the photo, not the photo itself. There is no duplication of photos.
