Restrict hotspot access

I followed the steps to limit cellular access as called out in prior postings, but when I go into child's phone they can still turn on their hotspot. does this function no longer work?

Sorry but this didn’t solve it. I want to stop hotspot access on my sons phone he has his own hotspot on his phone and I want to disable it. I tried to restrict changes to cellular data on his content and privacy restrictions and set it to ‘do not allow’, but he can still make changes - turning on his hotspot.

Ask your carrier to disable the feature on his number. You may even be able to do it yourself through your carrier's app or website.
